Topic at a glance

Take advantage of the graphic design power of PowerPoint to create presentations for publication to the World Wide Web, or to your company’s intranet. You can use PowerPoint to create a new Web presentation quickly from scratch. Or, if you have an existing presentation you want to publish to the Web, you can convert it to Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) format so that it can be viewed by Web browsers. You can create Web presentations for a variety of purposes. Advertise your company’s products by publishing press releases to the Web. Or inform co-workers about training opportunities and department procedures by publishing to your intranet. You can also use your intranet to set up an internal presentation archive with demonstration scripts and other behind-the-scenes resources. To access other Web presentations quickly, use the search and navigation options on the Web toolbar. For more information, see Office and the Web.
